This Windows application makes it possible to exchange order information with flora2000 servers through data communication.
This is a semi-offline system.
Ubis2000 connects to a flora2000 server via the internet and retrieves the user intended offers (pricelists) with images.
While this process takes place in the background, the user is led to the customers website, where the latest news can be viewed.
Once the data is complete for the user, this is indicated by the system and it allows the user to view the offers (eventually with images) and orders can be placed.
Once the total order is entered and verified it can be made final. Ubis2000 will then reconnect to the flora2000 server and pass on the order.
This order is then automatically processed on the flora2000 server, then an order confirmation can be sent automatically if desired.
There is also a version of Ubis2000 which allows salesmen to handle multiple orders from customers with a Windows PC.
This version is also suitable for a Multi-user environment, so that more salesmen can service the customer with the package.
The imagery used by Ubis2000 is maintained on the flora2000 server, and on a web server available for customers.
This footage can be standard material, but it is also possible to link a digital camera, video recorder or scanner to the database.
